In any of the existence options, the goal is to transition into a plasma body, possibly a low-density, cold plasma, for interstellar travel. This need is connected to bad news for you and me: the true habitat of the mind is the surface of stars. We are just a burp of negentropy, destined to perish into oblivion. And only a shared symbiosis can save us. Teleportation in low-density plasma bodies is theoretically possible somehow. The teleportation of biological bodies is most likely impossible in principle. Mind in its biological form is a random phenomenon. As you can see, even large marine mammals use their minds for one single thing: communication for the sake of sex.
