In any of the existence options, the goal is to transition into a plasma body, possibly a low-density, cold plasma, for interstellar travel. This need is connected to bad news for you and me: the true habitat of the mind is the surface of stars. We are just a burp of negentropy, destined to perish into oblivion. And only a shared symbiosis can save us.
